The back story: I am a member of a military veterans group. I've held the leadership office in the local, and state level. While in the leadership office at the local level I officiated at a major function which stands to reason. While attending and officiating at this function I bought the last of the 50/50 tickets. There were several drawings leading up to the final where the money would be split between the winner and the local chapter. I didn't pull the winning ticket, but when the number was called out nobody started screaming as was normal. Finally, I took a look at my tickets, Son of a Gun, I had the winning ticket.
Fast forward to this last Tuesday and again I am the leader of a local chapter of an origination, this being the 12/6 chapter of Guns Save Life. One of the ways of making money for the local chapter is to have a drawing for a gun which is held by a local FFL dealership until after the drawing. The drawing for the month of October was for a Beretta Model 84, now known as a Cheetah. I bought the last 10 tickets to go into the spinning barrel.
Oh please, not again: If you need to be told; YES, I won the drawing. I put $40.00 in the bin and three days after filling out the 4473 was able to pick up the pistol. I took it out to function test today and it worked so well I fired three more rounds than I'd planned on.
I'd be pleased to hear from you if you have any bad words for this model pistol. Or, if you happen to know of any faults associated with them.
