It has taken 18 months since our return from our last road trip, but the book is finally (almost) finished and published. And only a little more than three weeks before we are back again


The title is Jazz Blues and Honky Tonk Brews.

The e-book version is now up online. For some reason it is only showing on www.amazon.com.au and not on the US website.

The e-book can be downloaded for free until midnight 9th April 2024.

It is not perfect. I am having some issues with the layout showing correctly. There are some gaps that should not be there between chapters, and the prelude starts two lines up at the bottom of the picture page at the front.

Currently I am working on the print version. I am having to go through it chapter by chapter after each upload, which takes a good 5 minutes every time, to adjust the spacing in the manuscript so it shows properly in the print view. My plan is to get it finished this weekend, although I am shooting 12 stages of IPSC tomorrow and being a range officer for the following two days.

And then i get to do it all again for the next one

And the printed version is complete.

It took me a little longer than planned for the printed version to be finished.

S spent the weekend shooting and RO'ing an IPSC match. By the time I got home each day my mind was fried. Last night was just as bad, but I knuckled under tonight and finished formatting.

The book is awaiting approval for listing for sale. No more than a couple of days now.

And book number 3 is already in production. Less than 3 weeks before we will be back for another road trip. Oh boy!
