Post your Culina grip photos here!

Brings to mind the old Arlo Guthrie song "You can get anything you want, At Alice's Restaurant"

Only in this case you can get anything you want at Culina LLC. It may take a bit but you can probably get it (wood of choice) if possible.

I would have called these Birdseye Maple, but the Culina's say they are Bubble Maple - more of a three dimensional look - who am I to argue? Just love John's beautiful work...

Here are some better, individual shots of them...

LOVE ME SOME CULINA GRIPS! I’m in the process of getting a few more pairs too, including some Magna style. John and Jennifer are awesome to deal with….second to none! I have a couple of other pair, but here are my current favorites:

Great pictures! There are other grip makers who can show great pictures and I have tried most of them. I have three sets of Culina stocks and two more coming. When it comes to fit and feel, for my hands, Culinas are in a class by themselves. For me they are the finest ever. They also are great to deal with and leave nothing to be desired.

StrawHat, I imagine wait time is a function of not only what their current order volume is but also what wood you want and what they have in stock ready to be worked on. My wait time for all my stocks has been about 8 weeks.

I am a big fan of John Culina's grips and Jennifer is wonderful to deal with.

I have had more than a few sets - K frame square and 1911

This is a set of K targets made from Lignum Vitae, one of the hardest, densest woods and it has a neat interlocking grain structure. I no longer have these - they were donated to the SWCA for their fundraiser a few years ago.

These fantastic K Magna's are fiddleback Claro Walnut. I picked them from a group of unfinished ones and they live on my 1952 vintage K-22

As for 1911 grips

Curly Myrtle

And my newest : Fiddleback Bastogne walnut with satin finish and Fiddleback Claro walnut with Culina's Tung Oil finish

The Claro ones are now on my 1911
