Here is a model 66-1,6'' that was a prize at the Stockton Weber PPC Match in 1980.It was later engraved by Tay Herrera. He was introduced to Angelo Bee at the age of 17. Then in the early 90's he studied under Frank Hendricks and Ron Smith, two of America's most prominent American engravers.

Sorry about the poor quality of the pictures. I wish there was a class on how to take pictures. Maybe a light box would help. I hate it when they come out upside down.

Looks like a fun gun. I would love to see some more photos that are not compressed. In looking at Tay Herrera's work online, it appears that he engraves a lot of motorcycle parts. Beautiful work!!! I don't believe I have seen his work on another Smith & Wesson.

Is the cylinder the only place on the gun that has some gold line work?

Congrats and thanks for sharing.

Hmmm, all the pictures are upside down, do you have any for the northern hemisphere???

Looks like a neat gun.

Rob,

I'm in the Southern Hemisphere so if you look down everything will be right side up for you. I got the first 2 in the preview straightened out, the next 2 when opened are straight but the last is still out of sync. I changed one picture from a JPG to a PNG but have no idea how I did it. Your pictures always look museum quality. In my next life I will take up photography cause I'm too old to learn now.

Tay did one more S&W and a rifle in one order. The cylinder is the only place with any gold work done. If you send me an email address, I can send you the pictures or if you want something different, I will try to take more pictures.
