How common would it be to have 3T on a 4" K frame. Seems it would be un-common. I have an eye on a Model 19 so configured. Now it could be that these parts were changed somewhere down the ownership trail since there's no box label with it. It's a 19-4 by the way. :) I like the combination and have made an offer on it.

I have seen a fair amount of 19’s with 3 T’s. Since 19’s already came with the target stocks, the H & T were not that much more. Maybe about $40 when new.

I think it's fairly common on a 4".

It's my favorite setup. Not nearly as uncommon on 19s as it is 18s. I have a 3T 19 (have had several over the years) and two 3T 18s, one with the smooth Target trigger ( my shooter) and one with the serrated target trigger (still NIB.) I'll not let go of either.

I'm scratching my head a little,
When I hear the term "3 T's" I'm thinking
Wide target hammer, wide target trigger and target stocks, a case could be made for the red ramp insert and white outline rear site being a target feature as well.

Some of the examples above appear to have the narrower " Semi target hammer" which in my head is not considered part of the "3 T's".
Also the smooth trigger I had thought was called a "Combat" trigger and were not as wide.
I have a few 4" Combat Magnuns that have the "3 T's", IIRC they also have red ramps and white outline rear sights.

M19s shipped with target stocks and the semi-target hammer as standard.

Back in my po-leesing days, a number of deputies and cops wanted their Model 19s fitted with target hammers and serrated target triggers. I added THs and TTs quite often back then.

Yes, the two without pinned barrels. They kind of look like they have recessed cylinders but with that trademark on the left, appear to be 19-5 or -6s.

It appears to me that 3T's on a Combat Magnum were very common, only one step above a standard model.
During the 10 digit product code era, TT/TH ended in a 4, one step up from standard (1), whereas RR/WO ended in a 7 and TT/TH/RR/WO an 8, the highest next to special order (0).

From an old S&W invoice. The TT/TH are mentioned as an afterthought, on the same line, but the RR/WO were separated out and an addition al charge.

Have a 66-2 with 3 Ts, plus a still intact trigger stop.

My Model 66 pictured above also is a -2 and has the trigger stop. Could it have been included in -2s with the target trigger and hammer? I tried adjusting my stop out but the overtravel was so slight that as soon as I moved it at all the sear wouldn't break.

My 6" nickel 19-4 is a 3T and I have won several "Turkey Shoots" with it. I got it for $650 about 10 years ago and made about $300 with it so far!!

Everyone else was shooting their 9mm EDC pistols and I come out with Dirty Harry Jr and smoke'em old school style. Made my day for sure.

My K-38 Combat Masterpiece has TH & TT. So, I could put target stocks on it.
