You've seen this one before from another forum member. It's a special run of 48 5" 625-5 in 45 Colt from Accusport. Other than having a blue cylinder and serial number prefix,
it's no different than the 1550 625-5 dealers special from 1993

After a couple years of bugging, nagging him, he finally let it go. Ser# CLS 0008. Not much info out there. Also uncommon is the gaboon ebony Monogrip from Hogue. While enjoying dinner last week with Pat Hogue, I asked him about Hogue's use of ebony. He said they're very rare, used only for special orders. They sure look good on this piece.IMG_7910.jpgIMG_7904.jpgIMG_7908.jpg

That's a really cool revolver. I've never seen anything like it.

It's interesting where they put 45 Colt on the under lug. Does that make it a factory Smolt? (Just kidding)

Yes, that is a pretty cool model. Not many S&W 5" full-lug 45 Colts made too.

I have the reverse opposite that also was a limited run model from a distributor (Sports Authority Group/Gart Brothers).

It's a Colorado Commemorative Special, "Rocky Mountain Ram", 1 of 300, that has a blued carbon steel frame, with gold etched ram's head & lettering, and a bead blasted stainless steel (1.670" long) cylinder. It wears Ahrends Cocobolo finger-grooved wood grips, & also included a set of soft rubber Hogue round butt grips from the factory. For sights it's equipped with a red Hi-Viz (.270") front sight & a black notched (.126") rear sight. The trigger (.300") is smooth while the hammer is a checkered combat (.400"). Weight: 44.4oz with the wood grips. Product code: 160928.

More here:
Another pinto, but this one's blue & silver (M25-13, 45 Colt, Rocky Mtn. Ram)
