Started watching a movie. Picked it because it has people using guns to fight monsters. Nice enough premise to waste an hour and a half. I'm seven minutes in. No real action yet, just introducing the characters. We see one woman from the back. She seems to be doing some ballistic experiments, as she is heating ammo in an air fryer, for some reason. We get a real good closeup on her hands as the test the round for temp, then pick it up and load it into an AR magazine. Backwards. We then see her insert the mag in the weapon with the round pointed back at her. At that point I paused the movie. I was laughing too hard to keep watching.
I mean, if you're going to do a nice closeup, maybe choose one that doesn't show a total ignorance of weapons by the whole cast and crew present at the moment of filming. Nobody said that's not how it works?
Had to get that off my chest. Back to the paused, and now a comedy, movie.
