Yeah I shoot a lot of .357 and .44 mag so I kick myself for only buying one 8 lb jug at a time .Mine should run out about 2558 or there abouts but I'll never know for sure. Condolences.![]()
Does #9 require a magnum primer like H110 does ?I have plenty of #2400, but if I didn't, I'd buy an 8-pounder of AA#9. It's very close to #2400 in all respects and it's available. I've only tried it in .357 Magnum, but I'm confident it will work well in other magnum handgun cartridges.
Of course H110/296 will also work as a replacement for #2400, but you have to put up with that horrendous blast and fireball.
Try Ramshot Enforcer.
Finished the last of my 2400 stash .![]()
Sad??? Good riddance to Alliance! Movin' on!
but you have to put up with that horrendous blast and fireball.
And there's something wrong with that?
I'd give the left side of my right ....... for some 2400.
(Snip)****I started out, like a lot of us did, when it was Hercules. Powders such as Unique, Bullseye, Blue , Red ,Green Dot and 2400 populated my shelves.****
