One of my local LGS' had been sitting on a a few really nice 2nd Gen Smiths, and recently acquired 3566 Limited finally pushed me to work up a trade deal, involving several SIGs I had lingering in the safe. Starting at the top, moving CW - early 539, 4596, 3566, and a 559. The 4596 was a big auction purchase that I had won and was awaiting pickup, and ultimately lead to this collection consolidation. There is still some in-fighting and arguing going on when the safe door is shut, but it's not nearly as loud now.

I watched the Lew Horton 4596 a few weeks ago, glad it ended up here! Congratulations on a beautifully configured Third Gen.
Hopefully you’ll have it on display at Concord…?

I especially like those steel frames 539 and 559!! Hard to find those two for sale anymore, as well as the other two you obtained. Thanks for showing.

Thanks demkofour! Regrettably, I'm probably not going to make Concord this year. I was pretty stoked to win the 4596, it appears unfired. Probably paid too much as I was bidding against a probable shill, but I'm still happy to add it to the herd. Better pics to follow.

I thought you had a 3566 Limited ? Anyways , you did good ! Pretty soon you'll be like me , getting an Xmas card from your FFL thanking you for all your business .
Yes sir, this is my 2nd Limited, destined to become my "shooter". This one did come with a 9mm Briley barrel in addition to the 356TSW.

I'm also trying to keep up with Dparker, lol. I also have to acknowledge that I have a weakness for two-tones, and find it difficult to pass one up when they're in excellent condition, even if it duplicates something I already have. These particular PCs are IMO, some of the most gorgeous pistols ever produced by any gun maker, period!

I think that it’s wild that your 1991 745 is only 4 below my 1998.

Probably weren’t many made after 1991, with the very last few assembled from parts and shipped off to Lew Horton to sell in 1998. (Some say with a spurious pedigree.)
