Lucky you.... been there done both, and they both sucked!I tried to avoid those places. I had an aversion to Corpsman and large needle to fix the aftereffects!
Also I have to agree with Winston. Was lucky and never got a Purple Heart!

not sure what you mean "by age"? The book is a first edition May 1968. The art prints are not dated, but I'd guess they also have to be c.1968 (+/-)Please post those page by age and each picture. Have never seen that book before.

I've attached photo's of the 3 that I have framed on our hallway. These came as an "A" & "B" series with 5 prints in each. I do have the complete "A" series but am missing 2 from the "B" series. If you click on each photo you should then be able to click on that photo to expand its size for better viewing.I meant "page by page". This computer has a sticky key and it is the "p".
I looked at my book source and no luck finding it there. Can you scan the prints and post them here?
UPDATE: Found it on Amazon for $120.00. Don't think I will buy it.

The book is about 150 pages +/- so scanning all them and posting them up would not be a simple task.

Sadly, it seems this man never got the recognition that I feel he rightfully deserved for his work.
I'm proud to have his work to display, and I'm still trying to obtain the 2 missing prints of my "B" series.....
Just a sleepy backwater airfield.............Little old Bien Hoa. Took this pic some time in early 1970. Army was there too, 145 CAB as well as 5th SFG HQ.View attachment 755468
Yea, but it was home...for a while. We lived in ex-Air Force hooches which were pretty nice. Flush toilets, hot water and everything. Great chow and a fabulous O'club, for in country.Just a sleepy backwater airfield.............![]()

By the late 60's/early 70's it was nice from what I heard. A Marine Air Group was stationed there in 72.
The Marines got there in 1972. This was when Nixon Re-escalated the war. Half of the Marine Aircraft Wing went to Thailand and half to Bien Hoa. The A6's and F-4's went to Thailand (longer legs with heavy ordnance). The A-4's and some helos went to Bien Hoa.a.j., i heard the base had got larger, but didn't know marines were also ther. we were teaching vnaf how to use the ai-h and a1-e's 9 skyraders). i was withthe air commandos, flying c-47s doing flare missions. puff had nor arrived with us before i drros. i flew back on hops in c-130s to the usa, interesting. aj, this is rick, you know...
