Pete's #1 for being true to life. It's called the "but first" syndrome. It's when you start on Task No. 1, "but first" you have to work on Task No. 2, "but first" before you finish it you have to start on Task No. 3 and so on. You end up busy all day and nothing gets done. I finally figured out that 10 tasks half done don't equal 5 tasks done.

Also known as “diversion activity”, esp. when the initial task is something you don’t particularly want to do. If they awarded honorary degrees in DA, I’d probably have several.
