I just picked up this 6in 357 mag revolver. Pinned barrel recessed cylinder. Has the original box, no paperwork.

Any clue what year it was made?

Came with a tactical belt holster, Alessi shoulder Rigs, an extra set of grips, and a 19-4 box (no gun). I paid $700, want to know what a package like this is worth. Is the other set of grips original. Neither set has a serial number.

Here is my 66-1. I think the spare grips with the speed loader cut out are the correct grips for your gun.
The grips shown on your gun have been refinished.

Considering the year I would guess the football grips are the original set-didn't they go away 1980/81?. I've owned few 4" from '77-'79 and they all had the football style.

That's a great package at a very good price, well done!

47K More likely '78/'79, a 66-1 didn't exist until '77.

The grips on it in the first pics. The left panel looks like a football vs the more "u" cutout on the other left panel to clear speedloaders.

It seems from my memory that the speedloader stocks transitioned in about the same time that the P&R transitioned away. Around 1980-81.
