What's your favorite color for stocks on various revolver finishes?

I know that this question is highly subjective, kind of like asking what's your favorite beer. But I was just curious as to what Forum members felt about their favorite color for stocks on the various S&W revolver finishes...blued, nickel, and stainless. For example, do you prefer rosewood or walnut on blued revolvers? Like some other members, I still haven't figured out what color looks best on stainless steel revolvers. This quest could extend beyond wooden stocks and include stag and antler stocks. Thoughts?

Stag/Antler or bone on everything. Throw in a T Grip and it's perfect

I am another stag fan. But you don't see target stocks in bone or stag. I have 3 1911's with antler or buffalo bone grips. They are classy. My favorite set, Elk Antler. Bob

Dark wood on stainless and light wood on blued guns.

Some stag on blue .22s, a 4"Model 19 revolver and a Model 39

No bark stag on my Registered Magnum

I prefer blued steel with wood grips. On the few stainless revolvers I own I prefer black grips, either rubber or preferably G-10.

On stainless, I like Bubinga wood by Culina.

I like wood darker to medium.

Walnut, Rosewood, Pao Ferro.

I think I had Tulipwood Colt officer's grips but I gave the grips away after I sold the gun. Purplish wine tint dark wood? They were attractive.

Or Gaboon Ebony maybe? It looks awesome on nickel or stainless to me.
