What gun are you on the lookout for?

I have been looking for a 4 inch nickel 25-5 and an 8 3/8 inch nickel 57 here in California for the past 20 years !

Jerry
Dude!! I posted on the WTB a couple of months ago.
25-5 4” Nickel.
A gentleman from this forum came through and the deal was done

I want a Victory model. When I find them, they are badly overpriced or bubba'd.
Amen! My nephew’s mother just gifted him his grandfather’s Victory issued to the US Navy in World War 2. It’s pristine! When I stopped drooling I got him a holster and lanyard for it. I don’t know if he’s going to shoot it.

I'd kind of like to own a decent Mauser C-96 9mm Broomhandle.. I had a good .30 "Bolo" once.
Very Keen to own a FN Hi-Power P-35 with Tangent sights & stock slot. VECTOR came out with a beauty - but I'd settle for an INGLIS - like the lady is demonstrating. I'd have bought them while they were cheaper - but couldn't afford then either.

My longtime rifle wish list includes a Steyr SSG sniper rifle, and a IMI Galil in both .308 and 5.56.
My pistol wish list includes all the LNIB old, stainless S&W revolvers I see posted here by that guy up around Athens ( I believe)
See? I ain't asking for much! ;)

Edit: LOL, I thought I was still posting in my regular hangout, the Georgia Outdoors Trader!!

I am on the lookout for any gun that goes bang and also some that do not. Did I leave anything out????

I pretty well set up I don’t need anything I had a ppks on the list got that a 44 mag model 29 got . I told my ffl I only thing to look out for is any type of mouse guns I will never buy a new gun again

The reason I don't have all of these is that I'm a bargain hunter. It's hard for me to justify the cost to buy my holy grail. The enjoyment I get out of guns is significant..... But not enough to justify the cost of a say, a model 27 in fine condition. Finding a bargain is part of the fun, I guess.

This is why I don't respond to the WTB ads. I frequently have items people are looking for and I'm willing to let them go for a fair price to both parties based on current market conditions; but, after pm's back and forth, digging it out, taking and sending pics, and then the inevitable low ball offer, it's not worth the effort.
Enjoy the hunt, just stay off my lawn.
