What gun are you on the lookout for?

As for S&W revolvers. I have everything pretty much covered, snub nose J frames, 3”/4” K&L frames, N frames and x frames. But I am a sucker for engraved, presentation and LE marked guns.

I would like to pick up a Kolar O/U for trap someday.

Although I’m selling a few guns lately in preparation of a move. I would like to find a shooter grade model 18. Something I wouldn’t be afraid to throw in the glove box or side by side.

I don't suppose you might have a Nickel 6.5 M-24 you'd be interested in selling?

We all have our holy grails. And we have frivolous desires. And there are things we'd just like to try. What are some of yours?

My holy Grail is a deep blue pre-lock model 27 in 6" or 4".

I'd also like a 745, a stub-nose 28 or 29, an M1 Garand, a Glock47, a CZ75, a high end stainless 1911, a 1911 in 45ACP, a PCC of some type, a walther PPK (a Bond gun).

The reason I don't have all of these is that I'm a bargain hunter. It's hard for me to justify the cost to buy my holy grail. The enjoyment I get out of guns is significant..... But not enough to justify the cost of a say, a model 27 in fine condition. Finding a bargain is part of the fun, I guess.

What's on your wish list?
Yesterday I was cruising a local pawnshop a fantastic gem ! Yes, I almost embarrassed to recount, but I found an H&R 732 revolver. No, I wasn’t looking for one and I certainly wasn’t looking for one, but damn it felt good in my hand, the mechanics checked out, and after paying $ 200.00, it was mine. Sometimes I have a penchant for the weird and unusual. Can’t wait to see what it can do.

Model 681.
One that's as close to NIB as possible.
It took me close to 20 years to find a 581 as NIB, so I am both hopeful and patient

At one time I could have asked around, half the older guys at work bought their revolvers from the agency when the glocks replaced them. 4” 681 revolvers. I shot more than one of them but at the time didn’t take anyone up on buying one as the guys downsized.

Me too, like my property taxes going up every year with annual reevaluations. I didn’t realize my vinyl sided palace was a million dollar estate.

With me it's more like, "Okay. Time to buy that 52-2." Then a few searches later on Gunbroker I'm like, "Oooh a Bill Davis customized 629. Now how can I avoid GunBroker fees and sales tax???" I'm also regularly searching for Classic DX models and managed to with a 5 inch Model 29 a few weeks ago. Pretty much only got the gun and the rest of the goodies were lost to history, but considering how rare the 5 inch Classic DXs are it was a fairly easy decision.

I never know what I can't live without. It maybe waiting for me at my next stop.

I'm currently looking for solid, shooter grade Colt M1903 in .32 ACP, a C96 broom handle with a stock, a hi-power with a stock, anything in .41 mag. (I regret not buying a marlin when I had the opportunity.)

A specific firearm that I'd like to find in the 5 inch, nickel, Outdoorsman that my grandfather carried when he was the sheriff of Floyd County, VA. I don't know how I would ever identify it unless the seller knew its history.

I’ve been looking for years for a Smith Model 13 round butt with a 3 inch barrel and a Smith model 10 with a 3 inch heavy barrel. I had a deal for the 13 but the seller flaked at the last minute.
