Never liked engraving that much but things change.
That is about the prettiest gun I've seen. Hate to
post my 36 no dash so close to yours, but I got
it today and have to bragg. Don

This is my battle scarred Model 36. I got it NP3'ed around 1993 and carried it in an ankle holster. One day I learned two lessons - don't try to stop someone from driving away by sticking your head in the window and trying to take the keys, and don't use an ankle holster with a velcro strap.

I love this gun. A guy I know traded into it and I really wanted it. I didn't have the cash. He said "No problem" and held onto it for almost three months until my money got right. It shoots well.

Model 60
I carried this 3 incher every day for many years. I shot it a lot too. It is still tight and good. It is pretty much retired now though.

Model 642
I used to carry this gun a lot. I used to run about 9-12 miles a week and I carried this gun in a fanny pack. It has spent a lot of time covered in sweat. It hasn't really been shot that much.

Model 640
I carry this gun everyday now in a Kramer pocket holster. I guess I could carry the 642 but I like this gun.

Model 36
This is my wife's Model 36. She keeps it in her vehicle. She has never shot anyone with it but she has pointed it a few folks who suddenly remembered they had somewhere else to be.

This is one of my favorite fun guns. I don't shoot it as much as I used to. I need to break it back out.

I was actually carrying a 4 5/8" Super Blackhawk when we caught these fish which turned out good since I shot a hog going down to the boat one morning. I just wanted to show off. If someone will donate a 4" Smith 629 I will carry it next time
I just new they were Tenn.
catfish. I'am thinking Kentucky lake or maybe Old Hickory lake. Good
looking son you have there. Don

First pic is my other than work, edc 36, that used to be owned by a retired, then deceased USAF Brig. General. Bobbed hammer, smoothed trigger face, and secret service boot grips.

Second is a square butt, picked up from a retired Lt. from the dept.

A pair of 36's. Top is a 3" nickel plated version, bottom is a 2" blued that was my "backup & off-duty" gun for a few years until my wife decided it was hers. I got it back when I gave her the purty 3" nickel plated one instead!

Starting from the top is a 3 inch model 36 from the floating J years. Second one down is a 638 that I inherited . The third one down is a 442. Fourth one down as a model 60 I found in A gun shop was darn near perfect condition when I got it the action wasn't even broke in I had to dry fire a whole bunch and lube to get it to smooth out and lighten up. Last one's a model 37. I think I've had that one the longest. I bobbed the hammer. I rotate all as carry guns except for the 3 inch in my pocket. All the guns have rubber grips because I shoot them all and I carry them all.
