I have a 3" M60-15 and a similar SP101. The Ruger is more comfortable primarily because of the rubber grips. Is there a Pachmayr or Hogue grip for the M60 that is similar in size to the Ruger? I had a Pacmayr Compac on my long gone M65 that I remember as comfortable but I remeber it as much larger than the SP101 grip. Is the J frame Compac grip significantly smaller than the K frame version? Other recommendations for a rubber grip.sp101&S&W.webp

Lots of choices!
The Pachs Gripper Pros are front - back parallel except they have front finger grips.
Don't have a J frame set, but here's some on a 66.IMG_0028.webp

Here are the Pachmayr Compacs on a 940.

Hopefully gives you an idea of how big they are.

Exactly! One fine shooting pint size revolver. I will never sell mine.

Hogue Bantams work better for me than Pachmeyers or Uncle Mikes. Though they don't cover the back strap, the side panels are sufficiently cushiony and tacky enough to absorb some recoil and provide a secure grip.

Altamont makes some kind of similar to the Ruger ones you like

Diamond Pros vs. Compacs.
Here you go!
About the same overall size.
The DP is thinner at the top, gets thicker with a bulge at the bottom.
Compac also gets thicker at bottom, but more of a straight line increase.
DP has the slight front Finger Grooves.
I have Compacs on four guns and DP on none, so I guess I prefer the Compacs!IMG_2720.webp

Thanks, I'm leaning toward the Diamond Pro since it's a one piece grip with no seam in the front.
