...the Two Alpha Auction out of MI that just concluded today (8/23)?

There were some terrific bargains, but the one I was after eluded me. Just wondered if somebody here won it, it deserved a good home. It was a Model of 1950 (4th Model) H.E. Target in .44 Spl wearing Cokes. Went for $1400 (+BP+tax+shipping). If I didn't already have one I would have gone higher, but I dropped out at $1300, so one increment over won it.

Wasn't me, although that sounds like a pretty good price. What would the OTD total have been, around $2k? I missed a couple in the last RIA auction by one increment too, which would have been enough to win on one, maybe both.

The BP was low - 15%. I don't know the home state of the buyer so hard to say about sales tax and shipping, but I'd wager it would have been a bit below $2K all in.

I forgot to mention that the auction house mis-identified the gun as a pre-model 21 and no mention of the Cokes.

Not surprising Bob. I see mis-ID'ed guns all the time, even with the big boys. The bargains on some of the lesser known auction houses are out there.
