USAF May 1970 to August 1974, aircraft mechanic B-52, KC-135 & FB-111 at Plattsburgh, NY. 10 months at Udorn, Thailand, Oct '73 until Aug '74. Made E-5, Staff Sargeant with 1 year 11 months in service.

I was a proud member of the 9% of the E-5's that got out after 4 years. I firmly believe that the ultimate orgasm is Discharge at Travis AFB. I have never regretted my 4 years and 3 months of service (there was a draft -- join the air force TODAY or June 1 you will be in the army) or getting out.

USN 1977-2008 retired Master Chief Hospital Corpsman.

Served aboard Nimitz, Independence, and Juneau and various Fleet Marine Force units....loved all of it.

USN 1963-1985, Sonarman(sub chaser) first 10 years..new Navy Police rating for the last 12 years..retired Senior Chief Master-At-Arms..don't see how I survived when I look back at things..amazing the responsibility given to 18 year olds and it only grew as we got older..when I left at age 40, an old man by then, I had 350 men to be responsible for in almost every respect..got out, then retired again as the Deputy Chief of Police for a Federal Agency in San Francisco..could not have done it without the miiitary experience..all5x
