Has anyone tried the comfort pad? Wondering if it is worthwhile or not.
Had it on my last Foxx - loved it. If I ever pick up another Foxx, I'll get it again. I also get the kydex clips. Less important, but I like the kydex clips just a bit more.

Kydex is formed to be larger than the gun for fastening reasons, and it is stiff. It creates a larger footprint to conceal.
But on the weekends and as soon as I get home daily, the Foxx goes on. The leather still feels great and has formed well to my gun as well as my body. The cool thing is I even carry my M&P shield in it though it was formed for my 40 compact. It's not a tight fit on it like the 40, but as ling as I'm jot doing flips or cartwheels, it's not going anywhere.
It has been MY experience that the hybrid holsters are not as comfortable TO ME as my full leather Lobo holsters. Kydex is formed to be larger than the gun for fastening reasons, and it is stiff. It creates a larger footprint to conceal.
I have worn this type of holster for almost a year, until I got my first all leather custom Lobo holster. Since the day I strapped on a Lobo, I have worn nothing else. Leather molds to the person rather quickly, and is very comfortable.
Alright, that time again to update my review. I've had the holster for about 8 months now and to this day I still love it and it's my favorite holster I own and the most comfortable. I have since bought a Remora holster to use when I can't use this (can't carry at work, so Remora is great for transport).

It's still also my most concealable holster. It just holds the gun so close and retains it so well. I lobe my Remora too, bit I still do have to adjust it occasionally. With the Foxx, once it's on, you are good to go the rest of the day.
Hopefully this honest review helps someone make the right purchase decision. I will probably try the Foxx trapp for the Shields exclusive holster
