I had an AG (sold it this week to a member) have an old faithful, and now have a little foxx for my MP40c.
I think the larger, two clip holsters are great for larger guns, but I really, really like my little fox for my c.

One HUGE bonus for me is Foxx is a mile down the road from work in MI.
I have "mid-section girth"...and the larger hybrids, no matter where I place them, sag. Could be because my backside is as flat as the Olson twins front side...
All depends upon your needs, body shape, etc. They're all quality.
Only Old Faithful offers your total satisfaction in 30 days or your money back AND you keep the holster.

My Little Foxx is tuckable, which is nice as well for a small, IWB.
Since I wear an undershirt (Tshirt) I didn't opt for the nicer backing. I did opt for the Jhook. It is quality..100%.

I don't think it is uncommon for anyone to have 2 or more holsters for the same gun. It is like shoes - tennis shoes, dress shoes, boots may be in everyone's closet all serving a slightly different purpose.

Concealing a gun and holster by wearing IWB is easy with a long shirt or coat.

Concealing a gun and holster by wearing IWB and tuckable is a bit different - there will be the exposure of the 2 clips or belt loops.

Personally I find the AlienGear Hybrid the most comfortable of the 4 holster designs I have. The single clip DeSantis Sof-tuck is OK for quick-on but the cant angle will change slightly depending on sitting, standing or walking. That is where the AlienGear 2 clip is an improvement.

AlienGear uses the rubber hose spacers to allow adjustment of the retention on the gun. You can tighten/loosen the screws to alter the retention. Using screws rather than rivets allows changing of the Kydex to a different gun make/model. The hole pattern is the same for all makes/models.

I hear and read about the various thicknesses of Kydex and leather but don't often hear any pros or cons about either one.

I do like the large wide clip that FoxX Trap.

But on the weekends and as soon as I get home daily, the Foxx goes on. The leather still feels great and has formed well to my gun as well as my body. The cool thing is I even carry my M&P shield in it though it was formed for my 40 compact. It's not a tight fit on it like the 40, but as ling as I'm jot doing flips or cartwheels, it's not going anywhere.
You might try applying a bit of heat (hair dryer or boiling water) and depress the Kydex shell slightly to better fit your compact providing it doesn't make your FS too tight.

I used a Foxx hybrid with the optional backing for my EDC of a Ruger SR9c. It has been a good holster. I'll probably get another Foxx for my Sig P290 and one for my wife's new Shield 9mm (my reason for checking out this S&W forum). I really like the way the hybrid spreads the weight but am considering the Little Foxx for the Sig and Shield. So I'd love to hear more feedback about how well that single clip holster works. I often wear tucked so I'm not sure the Foxx Trap would work for me.

Older post, but since it got bumped up...

I also mostly find hybrids not the most comfortable - serviceable, but of course any quality leather I/OWB would be more comfortable.

But - does Milt or Lobo (or anyone) make a tuckable leather IWB? Hard to compare comfort of an tuckable IWB Kydex model to an OWB leather, they are two different animals.

Serious question - I would like to try a tuckable leather, if one exists.

Most holster makers these days make tuckable holsters. Just go to their website and see the vast array of designs they offer.

Default Fox vs. Crossbreed

I own a crossbreed for my shield. Just got my foxx. The only difference that I found was the price. Foxx is about 30.00 cheaper. Don't let that fool you, quality is great. Still a big fan of crossbreed but now a fan of foxx too!

I have a lil Foxx , bought it for a shield but found my 908s fits it also with perfect retention. have had it since September and love it. Only thing I did was drill a new hole for the cant adjustment, ( I like and extreme cant) I carry at 3o'clock, from the time I get dressed in the morning till I get ready for bed, carried in running pants, shorts and jeans, works great for my fat ***** . always forgetting I'm even wearing it.

I have since bought a Remora holster to use when I can't use this (can't carry at work, so Remora is great for transport).

But on the weekends and as soon as I get home daily, the Foxx goes on. The leather still feels great and has formed well to my gun as well as my body. It's still also my most concealable holster. It just holds the gun so close and retains it so well. I lobe my Remora too, bit I still do have to adjust it occasionally. With the Foxx, once it's on, you are good to go the rest of the day.

Hopefully this honest review helps someone make the right purchase decision. I will probably try the Foxx trapp for the Shields exclusive holster
I have been using a FOXX, IWB hybrid black, for several months now. I ordered the conceal clips, sort of a reverse J, with only the lower curved portion visible at the bottom of the belt. Works well but takes a while to get used to putting on, especially if you are used to a single metal clip IWB. I also ordered the deluxe backing and it does prevent movement. Overall very happy with the holster but not easy on- off if that is needed. This is noted on the website site, and there are options for that. Fast delivery, ordered on a Friday arrived the following Wednesday. Main appreciation is the comfort when wearing!
I also have a Remora, but use it for when I need to coat pocket carry, or if in a bag or center console type situation. Mika works well for this also. And the price is very reasonable.

For almost total concealment you can get J clips with Velcro from crossbreed and one of their gun belts with Velcro sewn onto the inside of the belt.
The J's go over the pant tops and behind the belt where they lock onto the inside of the belt.
There is only the top of the J clip exposed over the top of the pants.
It works well for max concealment and won't move once in place.
I don't know if anyone else makes this hook and loop set up for IWB.

I have a couple of Foxx holsters & they are well made & comfortable. I have a little Foxx for my p-380 & a regular Foxx for my shield. They have held up good although my little Foxx that I wear daily, the clip broke. Having had Cross Breed holsters in the past I called Foxx & they don't stand behind the clips? They directed me to the parts page on their website to purchase a new one. That being said, would I spring for a CB next time? Maybe they (CB) make a great holster too & great warranty and customer service. My shield Foxx holster is great comfortable & well made, but I replaced the clips with a CB set, they just seemed stronger. I think you would be happy with the Foxx holsters just be warned there might be some costs down the road to repair/replace broken parts.
