I like picking up holsters for the little .25 auto pistols when I see them. I bought a baby Browning this morning and recently bought a .25 holster from lawandorder so that seems like enough of a coincidence to show a few I've found over the years. A field holster with a safety strap seems to be an odd holster for a .25 but I get to carry whatever I'd like to so I guess everyone else does too.
My new Browning with the Westward brand holster I got from Tony.

Hoyt holsters. That IWB seems like a good holster for a little auto.

John, here is sort of an unusual 25 auto holster in my collection. I cannot photograph it with a 25 auto, as I do not have one. However my Ruger LCP fits snuggly in this holster. Also a couple of weeks ago I requested your expertise on a Browning Holster. I was not able to photograph it as you requested, as it does not belong to me. However today I was able to have my wife photograph it and the photos will be posted in my original thread. Please have a look.

That's a fine little holster you have there. Imagine- a flap holster for a .25 auto, not something you see every day. Some German officers carried .25 autos in flap holsters, I remember someone telling me they were suicide guns used to avoid capture, I don't know if that has any basis in fact but it sounds possible.
I posted in the Browning thread. Thanks for both posts.

I feel the same way about a full flap holster for a deep cover tiny pistol. I doubt that many of these were sold. Interesting story about the German suicide pistol idea. My son-in-laws grandfather was in the European theater in WW II. He confiscated a 22 caliber single shot pistol from a German officers boot. Most think this more a suicide gun rather than an offensive gun. I have a picture of the capture certificate that came with this gun.

very nice!

Those are some very nice little holsters. I would really like to have something like that. I don't carry my Colt .25 very often, but when I do it's in this Gunmate cheapy nylon holster. When I got the gun a few years back the guy told me it was pitted pretty bad. I looked at it and noticed the "pits", were in a pattern like fabric. It had been in a nylon holster similar to this one for God only knows how many years. I used my thumb nail to remove it and it cleaned up nice. No pits. The holster had kind of dissolved and stuck to the gun. I think my little Colt deserves one of those nice leather holsters.
Peace,
Gordon

After selling the gun, I sold this Alessi pocket holster to fellow forum member Hoot Gibson. Wouldn't you know, I picked up another Jetfire a few years later and tried to buy the holster back but ol' Hoot wants to hold onto it for awhile, and I can't blame him. :)

This one is back from when Lou was still around and the boning is so detailed you can read "25 Jetfire" from the gun's grip in the leather. Understanding how small these guns are to begin with, that's quite a feat. A great rig, rough side-out on the back, the perfect sheath for a little Beretta in the back pocket posing as a wallet.

^ Another field-type holster. I'll admit I have since picked up a couple myself for the Jetfire, a Lawrence 1C 589 and a S&W-branded 21 80. I'll have to get some photos one of these days.

As turnerriver alludes to in his opening post, the concept of a .25 auto riding in a field holster is goofy but the guns themselves are a bit goofy, so why not? :)

I got a Bianchi 18J holster for the Beretta 20/21 on my last trip
behind the Cheddar Curtain (Wisconsin).

It's got a belt clip and a thumbsnap and just a couple of marks on the outside of the holster. Counter guy took my first offer. Must have been tired of having the holster hanging around.

I got home and ran across a Beretta 20 in a local store.
Didn't bite (yet). But now I have a holster I may have to wear my
21A on my belt sometime. So far, it's only been in an ankle rig.

People might laugh about the small calibre of a .25. I work at my local county hospital where the county med examiner's office is located. The coroner shared with me that the most common calibre for gunshot victims are the .22 and the .25 so, go figure.

.25 shoulder holster

The pocket holster is a Bianchi and the shoulder holster is a Brauer bros. Ans 00
