I'm looking for an OWB for hunting and for open carry. I'd like something with level 1 or level 2 active retention. I placed an order for the 5.11 tactical thumbdrive holster for my M&P 40c with Crimson Trace Lasergrips for $55 from OpticsPlanet.

I'm second guessing my order and still have time to change or cancel it if I decide on something else instead. I really wanted the Safariland ALS holster but unfortunately it wouldn't work with the lasergrips unless I modified it with a dremel. As there was no room for the Crimson Trace Lasergrips.

So I'm wondering if any of you have tried the 5.11 tactical thumbdrive holster? Or if you know of any other better options?
Not really interested in the Blackhawk Serpa line. Nothing personal it's just not for me.

I was also checking out the Galco Matrix M4X with retention button for around $35. It is less than the 5.11 but has mixed reviews on Amazon.
