Sneaky Pete Holster question
Does anyone use a Sneaky Pete holster? How do you like it, is it obvious its a holster for a firearm? Leather, or nylon? Any info you can provide would be appreciated. I'm considering one for an LCP. Thanks in advance.
Happy holidays to all.

Do as you wish. I or my girlfriend can spot a sneeky pete from afar.
Its too obvious.
Thought about one my self, then I saw one in public.
LCP? In my back pocket, just wait till some one says "Gimme your wallet"

No experience with them. Frankly, never heard of them until you posted your question. If you want leather, I think there are better options for sixty bucks. And I won't touch a nylon holster, period. I think the Sneaky Pete looks like some sort of uniform accessory. Not all that fond of black, either. I'd shop around if I were you. Just my own opinion, you understand.

But if you are a CHL guy, or LEO, you can spot a concealed weapon from a crease on a shirt. Criminals likely can as well.
The Sneaky Pete concept is that so many people are carrying so much in the way of electronics, you expect cases of all varieties.
The concept meets the rules. Certainly not an elegant solution.

Any gun in a back pocket without a holster can result in lead in the can. I asked opinions, "do as you wish" is a little snarky, but thanks anyway.

I have a leather one for my J frame Mdl 36. I find it's too large for my tastes. Like carrying a lunch box on your hip. Drop me a PM............

If you wear a sneaky pete, just walk very rigidly and tell people in your best "DEVO" voice that it is your battery pack.

I've never tried one, but it looks to me as if access to the gun would be a little slower than conventional carry other than an ankle rig. I wouldn't trust it.

I have two sneaky Pete's. One for my M&P40C and one for my Taurus PT709. I can draw quickly from them. But I also practice. Anything IWB is slower for me. Honestly I wore one for several weeks around my family, and until someone asked to see my new smart phone that was in it, no one besides my wife and son knew I was carrying. Each person has their own needs, and wishes how they want to carry. I really like these myself. My dad also has one for his Ruger LCP and he likes it. To each their own.

I know of one man that carries that way. When you stand behind him you see the small frame auto pistol. Most don't pay it any attention.

Way too obvious in my opinion. Plus the SP on the case doesn't help. Average citizen might not have a clue what is was but Leo's and many others would know exactly with it is. I would rather have the only one knowing I'm armed be me.

I had considered one ... until I actually saw someone using one. Way too obvious and, IMO, not well made to withstand long-term use.

I have spotted a couple people wearing a S.P. in my area. It’s not that hard to do!
I did consider them for a while and emailed them about leaving off the SP stitching and was told that is customization and we do not do customizations. How the heck is leaving out one small step customization I do not figure that out at all.. They lost two sales right there!

Tell 'em the SP logo stands for "sell phone".

I think if you kept it LCP size, then you could probably get by without drawing attention. Once you start getting up to around an M&P compact size that seems a little large to openly conceal. Just my opinion though.

I ordered a leather one with metal clips for my Model 60. It was just too big and I sold it a two weeks later. If you buy one, I would suggest getting the nylon version with belt loops. Just my opinion, yours may vary.
