Why do a lot of people think you have to be a gay, vegetarian tree hugger to oppose the killing and exploitation of endangered species?
This is the 21st Century not the 19th. The time of the Great White Hunter.
I eat steaks, love venison and use lots of leather products but they are mostly made from cattle, lamb, goat or deerskin, even kangaroo.
In the areas in which elephant are legally hunted they are not endangered but in reality over populated. The money the hunts brings to the country thru National parks, camp fire programs does more to save the species than anyone claiming to help them from becoming extent by not hunting them or stopping someone else from hunting them. There is a lot of politics involved in CITIES and they are not always right. Many years ago they had leopard on the non import endangered list only to find out they were far from endangered even coming into the cities at night to hunt.

Cheetah a non importable endangered species is killed as vermin in Africa on ranches where it competes with live stock, because there is no commercia value to the animal!

How fortunate we are to have you to tell us what to do and how to do it. "Move along". I like that. No opinions allowed. You should be a moderator, or a hall monitor or something.

I have an idea. Let's just make this a Show and Tell Forum. We can just post pretty photographs for members to admire, but not talk about them or say anything. We can just make this a giant gun image hosting site. Of course, that sort of negates the entire concept of a "forum", but maybe everyone will be happy then.

That said, this whole thread and approximately 95% of the comments I've read on it are about the most idiotic I've ever read on this forum. I wonder what forum visitors think if they read some of this garbage? Not my problem, I guess, since it isn't my forum, but a whole lot of the comments on this thread don't sound like things responsible gun owners, hunters, and shooters would say. Kinda sad, really.

Leonard, no prize necessary. Actually, me thinks I should have kept my knowledge of the material to myself.

I like the OP's holster. That said, my hat is off to the hunter who neutered the Cape Buffalo to make a purse for his wife...especially if he turned the Buffalo loose afterwards. That would be the definition of a man right there.

The funny thing and it happens a lot is when woman pick it up and caress it, saying how cool it is and then asks whats it made of! Maybe its a genetic hormonal thing that makes them handle it?

I had a broiled kydex fillet once. It tasted like a rubber chicken.
