I'm gonna have my 329PD strapped to my right hip with this:

Smith Wesson Revolver L N Frame Leather Holster Tan Black 4 Inch | eBay

I'm looking for something very similar for right handed cross draw (left hip) for a 3" 317 .22

I like the idea of the thumb break incase I fall, but I can't seem to find a holster like this that isn't $100

I really don't care about high quality leather as it will get beat up in the woods.

I came so close with this but it doesn't seem to be available in 3"

I should also note I'm not looking to have one built for me as I am going hiking at the end of the month and would like it ordered asap.

Thanks!

Try DeSantis Leather. While not the top of the heap, they are certainly descent enough for their reasonable prices. For the BEST there is IMHO, I like Kramer Leather (Horsehide) but that will cost you double what you are looking to spend. DeSantis leather will do the job for a while. There are also several holster makers here on the Forum. Lobo is one and Snubby is another. I do believe Charter Oak is a third. You might contact them as well.

Call Ed.
Rodek Leather Works, Inc. - Holsters
Explain what you want and send him a picture. Delivery is usually about 1 week. You can check his prices on is webpage to give you an idea what he charges.
You won't be disappointed. You'll end up with a very nice quality holster for a very good price well under your budget. Your choice of color and finish for the same price. I really like his mahogany basketweave. Where other leather workers do it to make a living Ed does it as a hobby. He doesn't have the high overhead other makers have.

Simply Rugged

Simply Rugged Silver Dollar Pancake. Does not have snap/thumb break, but is extremely secure. Price is $50.00. Check out their website. Best wishes!

I've been happy with this for my model 60. I usually carry it cross-draw. I like that you can put your belt on the outside which keeps the holster and gun tight to the body. Retention is excellent. Good price, worth it!
