Women carrying IWB-what style holster do you use?
I'm looking at holsters and considering the Alien Gear 3.0. My concern with this or with any of similar style is how well it fits on women. I wear anywhere from a 6-8 with a smallish waist. Does the holster wrapping around your hip bother you or do you just get used to it?

You dont say what weapon you intend carrying. I use the holster you mention for the Shield and Sig P238. Loose clothes and a vest when weather allows. A Galco SB2 belt carries great. A proper gun purse when attire forces me to lose the holster.

I use a Nate Squared (also known as N2) original holster to carry my j frame IWB. i've tried many iwb holsters and it's the only one that works for me. Very comfortable, and not outrageously expensive.

My wife uses a blade tech UCH with her 3913 ladysmith .She used the same type of holster when she carried a Glock 26/27.Only issue with holster is the screws need to be lock tighted. She carrys every day and it works well for her.

For my particular set of circumstances, I forget it is there. My carry comfort is built first on my holster belt. Then a holster that keeps the grip tucked in tight to the body at my preferred four o'clock carry position. Then clothing that conceals but gives access. Following these criteria, I comfortably carry a 686Plus revolver with a 2.5 inch barrel which is substantially heavier than the Shield. I also carry reloads in a magazine carrier or speedloader carrier. I am a largish grandmother and my size eliminates appendix carry but my petite granddaughter carries a full sized semi-auto at appendix position, even with snug tops.
