Default Western Images Chest Rigs

Has anyone had experiences with this maker? Their chest rig looks nice and is an attractive price compared to some others, but reviews are scant.

I had never heard of them, but the images look pretty good. For $30 more I would highly recommend a Diamond D Guide's Choice. Just a quick google search or any forum search will give you tons of great reviews... Me included. When I'm in bear country I always have my Super Blackhawk 5.5" 44 mag in my Guide's Choice loaded with Underwood 340 gr hard cast +p+. I love it

Yeah, I was considering the guides choice or the Galco when I stumbled on the maker. I had never heard of him, but it looks pretty on par with the others.

I have 3 different brands of chest rigs ,a guides choice for a 4'' j frame kit gun great holster .a haugen for my 629 4' still great probably like the haugen better especially for a larger revolver has kind of a thick leather back that makes it nice, but i just tried a gun fighters kenai chest holster had it made for a Delta Elite the other 2 are all leather but the gunfighters is kydex and the straps are like a wide suspender type straps and its great like it a lot and about 100 dollars cheaper also all of them are versatile they can fit over jacket ,under coat not real bulky ,you would not find fault in any but the gunfighters kydex is nice most in stock and ship within a day ,the guides choice real nice pricey and 6-8 week wait Haugen probably the finest and cost accordingly similar 4 weeks

A long time ago, I picked up an inexpensive Uncle Mike's shoulder rig for my 8 3/8th" 500 Mag.

I don't hunt with it nor have I had a reason to go into the real outdoors with it but it does a great job of distributing the weight. 5# loaded on the hip is a pain but you don't notice it in a shoulder rig. Don
