How wide is my CYA iwb holster clip?

Dumb question, how wide is my clip?
I bought this from a LEO and he said it's for 1.5" belt.
When I try my regular 1.5" belt, it has some room left on top and bottom.
Is it because it's not thick enough to fill the inside space?
Or is it for 1.75" belt?
I measured the clip from outside and it's 1.75" and inside should be smaller as the clip angles inwards.
Does anyone have CYA holster to compare the clip width? Does your 1.5" or 1.75" clip measures same as mine?

I'm about to order a belt and want to confirm what I have.

What my clip measures may not be what your clip measures. CYA could have changed clips makers or uses different clips on different holsters ...and you didn't specify which holster .
Best bet , pull out a few belts , see if buddy has some different widths belts or truck down to sporting goods store and try clipping holster on belts, the one it fits best on ...measure it ...buy it or order one the same width . Trying the clip on belts is the best way to find the best fit.

It probably is for a thick 1.5" belt because you need a little wiggle room on the clip ... too tight a fit hinders the clip from clipping correctly but trying it on a belt is the only way to be sure. A proper gun belt should be double thickness and on the stiff side...not soft .
