I bet one would definitely attract attention toting that around on your hip in TX in the early 1900’s. Beautiful gun and holster!

I need one of those floral carved Artillery holsters for my next BBQ. Since it changed hands 75 years ago the only holster the poor thing has seen is a USGI shoulder holster.

It has been removed, did so after I took the pics. Verdigris is some nasty stuff.
