Found this used but nice condition Galco shoulder holster sitting on the “bargain bin” table at a gun shop here in Charlotte. Was not looking for a shoulder holster but could not pass it up for $25.00

I have tried many shoulder holsters and I am just not a big fan of them. It is quite possible that my body type bares much blame. I am barrel chested, so it is a pretty long reach for me to get to the handgun in a shoulder rig. I will say that the Galco harness is the most comfortable that I have tried and it is quite adjustable.

I have several Galco shoulder rigs for different model revolvers and pistols. Once properly adjusted they work very well for me. Winter here in Kansas so my daily attire is jeans, tshirt, Galco Vertical Shoulder holster w/629-2 Mountain Revolver and a heavy flannel shirt over the gun and holster.

That's "only" a $115 holster (Classic Light), so you did pretty well, I'd say. I have a Miami Classic I bought years ago for a G20, I wish I had a holster for the straps that my M66-1 would fit. I did discover not long ago, my Ruger SR40c will fit the holster made for the G20 (which I no longer have), so all is not lost.

What gun shop was that, I might have to drive down and browse a little. I'm only about 40 minutes from downtown.
