Thin Kydex IWB Holster for Shield.
Looking for a thin, minimalist IWB holster for a 9MM Shield. Don’t want anything part of a “system”. Just something small that just fists the gun and takes up no more space than it absolutely needs to.

I highly recommend FIST (brand) #1K (K for Kydex).
It is very thin, very light, but very tough.
I gave the Ruger LCR to my Great Granddaughter, and the FIST
along with it.
Here is a picture.

Amazon lists 7 pages of "S&W holsters" in various configurations, makers, and prices.

I have a JM Kydex IWB#3 holster for my Beretta PX4 Compact. Very well made and thin. It's basically a Kydex version of the Summer Special and can be had with either a clip or belt loops. Of course, the clip lays flatter.

Depending on where you want to carry, I really like the Trex holsters for appendix. I use their holsters for all my guns. Have one on order for my Shield I just ordered as well

I’ve said it here before but, Mark at Pyntek makes all my kydex holsters, no others that I have tried compare.
Looks like he has Shield holsters in stock, so no wait time.

I saw some of them. They look cheap and I’ve never heard of any of them so I figured they weren’t all that great.

You won’t find a thinner one than the Reinforced Clip IWB from PJ Holsters. It’s all one piece; he cuts the kydex so there’s exactly enough to “reinforce” and basically, just folds it over itself to creat the clip part. No unsightly clip hats screed in to holster body; no sir. I have one for every gun; besides the easy on/ easy off, they’re great for storing the handgun in and help protect the pistol from safe dings.
