I bought a 1968 vintage Colt Diamondback .22 revolver, 4" barrel while on vacation in Florida back in February. What a treat it is to shoot such a sweet revolver! It is crazy accurate, smooth as can be in operation, now I know why people lose their minds over Colt Snake Guns!
Holsters are hard to find though, I ordered an El Paso Saddlery "Thumbreak" for it as soon as I got it home, but El Paso is known for long waits. I kept my eye peeled on Ebay for something that would work to use until my El Paso holster got here. This one popped up, and I jumped on it like a chicken on a june bug. Tan Safariland, basket weave, I think it is a Threepersons style holster but I'm not sure. It is marked on the back "Colt DB".I paid $53 plus shipping:
So, I'll be hitting my favorite hiking trail this morning with my Diamondback safely nesting in this Safariland holster.
My mind is already racing to see if I can find a 4" .38 Special Diamondback at a price that won't break the bank.....
