The wait is over: El Paso Saddlery "2 Thumbreak" for Colt Diamondback....
Got my El Paso Saddlery "#2 Thumbreak" holster I ordered four months ago for my .22 caliber Colt Diamondback. Tan leather, basket weave stamping, thumb break retention. Well worth the wait, I have always appreciated El Paso Saddlery quality, I have owned several over the years and they always stood up well to hard service. When I ordered it, the basket weave option was $40 extra, the Wife said "Go for it, Colts deserve basket weave". I tend to agree...

Looks nice. Is it lined? There looks to be a folded edge around the trigger but it's hard to tell. Would you be bale to post a picture of the holster without the revolver in it.
I make holsters as a hobby. Don't sell them or anything but I am always looking at other holsters for ideas.
It does look really nice. The basket weave looks nice a clean. I love the look it has that classic leather color to it.

I've been using EPS products for decades. They are worth the wait.

Vulcannut,
Here's a pic of the holster's insides. It is lined, not sure with what, catalog just says "lining standard":
I like the thumb break retention. I have several holsters with a thumb break, Bianchi #5's mostly, and have gotten used to the draw with a thumb break. Fast and secure....

I believe EPS uses pigskin for their linings today.

That's a very nice holster. It is similar to the Safariland M29 holster. I carried my duty revolvers in various M29s over the years and still prefer that style.
Does it have the FBI forward cant?

Nice! I picked up a 4” Diamondback today, wish the El Paso 1930 Austin I picked up a recent show fit it, but it does fit my 627-0 perfectly - brand new in the $20 bin.
There’s one identical to yours on a popular auction site at $67 with 1.5 days to go.
FYI: My 4” Diamondback fits nicely in my Galco K frame holsters
