Default 2 Holsters, same model - made differently

I just noticed today that of my 2 Hunter model 10-1100 holsters, the strap is on them at a very different angle. The darker one is one dad bought back in the 50's, I assume, when he bought the K-22 that lives in it. The other one houses my 686 and it came from a bin at the gun shop.

Also the older holster has a cut out for the rear sight while the (I think) newer one doesn't.

I figure you holster addicts will be interested.

ETA: The darker one has "1100" stamped in ink above the horn logo and "10" beneath. It doesn't show well in the picture.
