Holster options for 686+ PC (non-fluted)?

Hi, I'm awaiting a S&W 686+ PC with 5" barrel (UPC: 022188871449, SKU 11760) and am struggling to find any holster made for the gun. No cylinder flutes is part of what's making this a rare bird, apparently.

Anybody have leads on holster makers that might offer an option for this gun? Thanks in advance!

Good point, forgot that. OWB, and I'm open to either Kydex or Leather (slight pref for Kydex, but either works).

Well, after digging around and finding no Kydex versions, and also checking with Galco and others, I have only one (1!) holster company that says they can holster my S&W 686+ PC 5" barrel revolver - Milt Sparks. Didn't realize a humble 686 was going to be such an expensive gun to carry by my side!

If you're thinking about this gun (UPC: 022188871449, SKU 11760), be aware there are limited holster options, unless you are more successful than I at seeking one out!

I would think any 686+ holster with an open bottom would work. I dont mind the barrel sticking out a bit but if you want it totally enclosed, you will find it difficult to locate without going custom hand molded

I would think that the unfluted cylinder would not be a factor. My guess is that any 686 plus that will accommodate the barrel would work

Having the same problem with 586 L Comp, 7 round capicity with 3 " barrel.

Take a look at Simply Rugged's website. They can make a holster for it.

Just purchased a DeSantis scabbard OWB that fits my L Comp fine. It was a stock item at Midway USA that cost under $50
Not all that impressed but for under $50 I guess I shouldn't expect too much. Just to hold me over until I can order a custom build.

Black Hills Leather will make a holster for anything you have or basically anything you can dream up. Workmanship is great, price is very reasonable and turnaround time is quick. I had them make me one for my 5" model 27. I am very pleased
