I think only RIA and Para Ordnance ever made 3" 1911 pistols. I have a RIA BBR 3.10 at my FFL waiting on the background check.

Anyway, paddle hopefully, but not a deal breaker. Leather, and either IWB or OWB. NOT ***.

It is a 10 round double stack, an all steel version of the old Para Ordnance Warthog essentially.

Colt( the Defender) and Smith (Pro Series) make 3 inch 1911’s. Check with Don Hume or DeSantis….though there are many others.

There are quite a few more manufacturers of 1911's with barrels in the 3-3.5" range.

I have a Devil Dog and Colt Officers, which both work well in a We The People OWB holster.

Kimber Ultra Carry is a 3” barrel.

I carry mine in a Milt Sparks VMII.

Colt Defender (3" bbl) in a well-constructed, hand-made, premium genuine leather MASC Pancake holster specifically made for the 1911 (not a 'one size fits all/most' type holster). Very reasonably priced for the top quality you get.

This is what separates the men from the boys!

Fit for the specific handgun. Not a generic holster.

A custom leather smith can do this for you reasonably.
