I carry my EDC in a Mika pocket holster. While I am very happy with it I am looking for something bit thinner for a certain pockets. I am looking at AHolster. I am between the regular pocket holster and the backbone. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You,

For $40, give it a shot. You wouldn’t be the only one here with a box of barely used holsters that seemed like a good idea at the time! ;)

Personally, I doubt you’d notice the difference in material thickness and I can’t imagine a rigid kydex holster would be near as comfortable in your pocket.

Bob Mika makes great stuff for the money, but I prefer Kramer and Milt Sparks pocket holsters. The Sparks is more comfortable and has been getting the most use, but the Kramer fits better in narrow pockets.

That Backbone is the next on my list. Having just switched over to J frames for my everyday everywhere gun I’ve discovered that you really do need a few different pocket holsters. The difference in pockets between my various dress pants, jeans, and now shorts has necessitated the need for different holsters to accommodate for that day.
Try it and if it’s not for you I doubt you’d have any problem selling it on the forum.

I never understood the appeal of those padded holsters that make you look like you’re shoplifting a club sandwich. I always felt something like this from Pocket Concealment Systems was far better.
