holster for Rem 51

Jimmy;

I can't post a link but I did personally look one over the other day at a shop where I know the owner. The holster is made by Browning, no number marks, but well made, decent quality and has been mated with the Remington 51 for bucoo years. Both gun and holster well worn, but leather still supple.

I'm not into another caliber (380) and I really don't look to old Remington autos so I didn't pursue any further but it's been sitting there for many moons now.

Maybe this will help you track down something that fits.

I have heard the old model 51 will fit most leather or nylon holsters designed for the Walther PPK. Don't know if that's correct as I never tried. I would certainly think the 51 would fit one of the generic sized Uncle Mikes type holsters for basic carry use.

A holster for an FN or Browning 1910 might work. A lot of those have flaps.

I wouldn’t carry the Remington in a holster with a retaining strap that went around the grip safety, unless it was done with an empty chamber.
