3 inch K Frame Holsters

This S&W branded holster was made for 2 1/2" K frames, but works well with a 3" K.
Roughly 1/8" of a 3" 13-3 barrel shows.

3" K Frame hosters

During my LEO career, I was (and still am) a big fan of Hoyt holsters. They were originally made in California, but the company moved up to Washington State. They were a custom-made holster and I used them for my duty belt mostly. At any rate, here is the off-duty Hoyt for a K Frame as well as a duty Hoyt for a 4" K Frame.

These were/are a break-front design, and they hold the revolver very securely.

Lobo Gunleather 'Avenger' with my oft-carried M65 3"

The Avenger style holster takes up less room on the belt than a pancake and it's design 'pulls' the butt of the gun inward, aiding concealment.
My go-to design for anything to be CC'ed, auto or revolver.
Worn at ~4:30-5:00, near perfect.

I have had my last five holsters custom made by Nixon Leather in Alliance, Nebraska. Very competitive on pricing and turn around is reasonable.

He made this one for my 3 inch model 65.

Now that's a pretty cool holster, does it hold the gun in place firmly if you are tussling about?

Cool.....
