K Frames_Model 617 vs. M66, are they the same?size

So, the burning question, if I ordered a Holster for a K frame Model 66 in 4" barrel, would my 4" K frame model 617 fit?
I would think dimensionally, there the same.
Frame size, barrel, cylinder diameter (one bored for 38/357, the other for .22 LR

Yes, they are the same size.

Hmmmm....
Your 617 likely has a full-lenth underlug, whereas the 4" M66 does not.
Likely won't make a difference in most leather holsters, but may well be a deal-break in kydex.
