What's a good holster for a 627 PC?
Any recommendations for a carry holster that is durable and comfortable? S&W 627 PC 8 shot 357 Mag w/ 2.625" barrel.

Lobo leather
This Lobo leather holster pictured with a 3" Model 625 has worked well for my snubby N frames including my 627. The far apart belt loops spread out the gun weight. It's also fast to attach or remove from a belt.

I was coming here to look up a holster for my 4-inch 627 and found this thread. I have looked at a few places and from what I have seen not many list the 627 model, although I could be missing some. I'm just gonna use it for range work and goofing around, maybe carry it in the colder months but just a in general pick would be helpful. Thanks for any info.

I carry mine in a Kramer horsehide belt scabbard. The holster does double duty between the 627 and a 629. With a good belt I don't even know it's there.

Thank you so much, that was quick! The holster looks good, although it lists the 627 4 inches with an "unfluted" cylinder, does it make a difference? And while I am open to other options this 1st one looks great. Thanks again.

Rob Leahy's Simply Rugged Sourdough Pancake™ for me.
Handsome and fully functional.
That's a big revolver, and in Rob's leather at the appendix it
conceals well, and I hardly know it's there.

I use Kramer holsters for all my carry guns. I pretty much have one holster per frame size and barrel length and I carry both fluted and unfluted in the same holster.

Thanks for all the information. I have also found some nice holsters at Tucker Leather and Kraft Leather.

I ordered one for a 4" N frame for my 27-6 from Barranti...back in May '23. I hope to see it soon. Maybe I should give them a call for an ETA, but I hate to bother them. They advertised a long wait time. 6-8 months. At least they're local. Maybe 1/2 hour by car.

When I feel the need to, I carry my 629PC in a Bell Charter Oak IWB Grizzly model. Has worked well for years.

I've had a couple Kramers. They make a solid product. Cost a bit now, and their wait times can be long...
Another guy I've had a couple holsters from has also been Ronin Leather. Dave is a good guy. Reasonable prices. Fairly quick turnaround.

I use a Speed Beez kydex OWB for IDPA or around the homestead for my 657 PC.
For AIWB I use a JM custom kydex, which has decent concealability but is a little more uncomfortable than the floppy leather targua that I used to use from ebay.
The first holster I used for it was a lobo gun leather pancake. It was ok, but the short barrel would case the handle to pivot away from my waist. I still wear it occasionally.
