Custom Holster Makers?
I’ve got a reproduction Pietta made Captain Schaeffer .36 caliber navy with 4” barrel. Here is the original pistol it’s based on:
This holster is original to the gun. I’d love to have a repro of this holster made. Can anyone here recommend any leather workers that are currently taking work and who might be open for a project such as this?
Thanks!

The finish is done only in a single State of Mexico, called 'piteado'. So one would want a true custom maker who has the contacts to get the hand sewing applied. Wikipedia has a lengthy entry about same.

Thank you. It wouldn’t have to be a perfect match, maybe some tooled and dyed basic leather.

I'd contact Cochise Leather Company - cochiseleather dot com. They might be up for the challenge.
