Up for sale is an unfired Springfield Loaded Parkerized 1911. I picked this up last week but have come up with some unexpected bills so it needs to go. It will come in the box with everything provided by Springfield Armory (2 magazines, manual, holster, magazine pouch, cleaning rod, etc). I am also including 5 Wilson Combat Service Mag Plus magazines and a polymer barrel bushing wrench. In the time I've had it, I have swapped out the 2-piece guide rod with an Ed Brown GI guide rod setup, the MSH with ILS with an Ed Brown Maxi-well (combination MSH and magwell), and the grips with a set of VZ G10 Elite Tactical Carry grips in black cherry. I will be including all of the factory parts with this sale, as well as an Ed Brown frame rebuild kit (the parts used to assemble the mainspring housing are on the gun). The only blemish on the gun is a small scratch on the slide above the takedown notch where I accidentally nicked it with the slide stop lever during reassembly.
At this time I am looking for cash only and the buyer must be able to meet in the 48154 zip code of Livonia. A pistol purchase permit or CPL plus ID are required.
Cost breakdown of extras:
-Wilson Combat Service Mag Plus magazines - 5 @ $19.95 = $99.75
-Wilson Combat polymer barrel bushing wrench - $3.95
-VZ ETC grips - $69
-Ed Brown Maxi-well (magwell can be removed with an allen wrench) - $81.95
-Ed Brown GI guide rod - $16.95
-Ed Brown stainless guide rod plug - $9.95
-Ed Brown frame rebuild kit - $16.95
-Hoppes .45 caliber boresnake - $14.95
That's a total of $313.45 worth of extras plus you get the original parts. The pistol itself retails for $750+ so that's about a $200 savings at least.
Also, if the pistol sells, I will have 2,000 rounds of Blazer Cleanfire 230gr TMJ for sale at the cost of $275 per 1,000 rounds which is $30 less per 1,000 than I paid for it.
