SOLD
1876 1st Model "Baby Russian" .38 S&W Topbreak revolver and holster in fine condition. Original nickle plating is around 80% and the frame, cylinder, and latch serials numbers match. Beautiful set of original grips. Shoots and functions perfectly. The hammer has been replaced with one from a 2nd Model. I will include the original hammer but someone in the past did some grinding on it where it contacts the trigger sear. That is why I have priced it at only $375.00 shipped . $350.00 cash face-to-face in ft.Worth. Serial number is in the 10,000 range. You will love this little piece of cowboy history.
SOLD: I am selling a 1877 smith & Wesson 2nd Model .38 top break revolver. As you can see, there is very little of the original nickle plating left but, it is a great shooter. I shoot it all the time. The hinge lock-up is tight, timing is perfect, and the action is great! The bore has some pitting but has good rifling. The grips are perfect with no cracks or chips. There is some pitting on the barrel on the right side below the top rail on the barrel. The stamping on the barrel is clear. This one has a 3 1/4" barrel. Its has honest wear but shoots great! I have it priced to move at $225.00 shipped from my FFL to yours or $200.00 face-to-face in ft.Worth. The 4 digit serial number dates it to 1876-77 and all serial numbers match. Will ship to most states. Thanks
