Default FS / FT Sig 229 .40S&W (South Carolina)

WITHDRAWN AS OF MAY 4, 2012For sale or trade is a Sig 229 in .40S&W with the original papers, plastic box and cardboard outter box. It is traditional DA/SA and has regular fixed sights - not night sights. I purchased this pistol in the mid 1990s when the assault weapons ban was in effect, therefore it comes with two original factory 10 round magazines. I also have three factory Sig 12 round magazines that will be included for a total of five magazines. This pistol is factory original. It has not been tampered with or "upgraded" in any way. I fired exactly 100 rounds through the pistol with no problems. This is the pre-rail model with a German made frame. It's been sitting in my safe for approximately 14 years. This pistol is in excellent condition as you can see in the photos. I'm selling it because I don't shoot it or carry it and there are other things on my wish list.

Price is $675.00 shipped to CONUS from my FFL to yours. No sales to CA. Payment by USPS money order, only. First "I'll take it" followed by a PM or an e-mail to [email protected] gets it. Price is $625.00 for FTF transaction in Pee Dee or Midlands of SC with proper ID.

I will consider trades on the following pistols and pre-lock S&W revolvers with the potential for cash to go either way. Not interested in anything in less than 90-92% condition. Shipping and transfer fees to be negotiated.

3", 3.5", 4", 5" or 6" "N" frames (blue or stainless, not interested in nickel). Especialy interested in a Model 27 w/ 3.5" barrel, a 4" 625, or a 610.

"K" frames - Model 19 w/ 2.5" barrel, 3" 547, 617 no dash or -1, 3" 13

"L" frames - CS1 3" or 4" or 586 in any barrel length (not interested in 586 Classic)

"J" frames - Model 940 with +/- 2" barrel or a 2" Model 63

Pistols - 745, 4505, 4506-1, 4526, 4546, 4566, 1006, 1066, 1076

Thanks for looking. Please e-mail with questions.

Will you consider shipping FFl to FFL for a private buyer?
