SOLD PENDING FUNDS

I obtain this beauty from our friend Thiokol on this forum earlier this month, but I have to say, I don't think I'm worthy to own this fine firearm without being tempted to shoot it. It should remain as it is and in a true collector's possession.

This one in like new condition with the exception of a rub mark on the side plate which I believe was caused by the Crimson Trace grips that the former owner had on the gun. I have tried to photograph it as best as I could. The gun will come with the original box with the insert and the top hat but nothing else.

I would be willing to consider trading for pre-lock S&W's (ideally 3" model 66 or 19 in .357 or a SW Performance Center "K-Comp") or a shooter grade Colt Python, King Cobra or Anaconda plus cash on my end. I will also include the pictured MINT K frame wood SW stocks as a bonus. The black grips are the original grips.

POSSIBLY STOLEN DSS 19-5 Smith and Wesson!
Gang - I sold this DSS 19-5 back in December and have tracking on it with my FFL to the buyer via another FFL. The package has been declared "lost" as it never arrived at it's final destination. I'm working with my FFL for the USPS insurance claim to "prompt them" to look harder for it. Hopefully it will show up (was suppose to be delivered 7 December) but if not, and you see someone trying to sell it - IT MAY BE STOLEN. Please alert me so I can work through the proper legal authorities. I'll post this also on the Colt forum. Thanks - hopefully it will just turn up and get delivered - if it does, I'll respond to this thread.

I guess that's what I needed to do was to post about the 'lost' 19-5. It was RETURNED to my FFL as unclaimed, so we are sending it back to the new owner via UPS this time. My heart can start pumping again.

Added January 15, 2014: In fairness I must add that we have at least one USPS employee who is a regular here on the forum. This party was very helpful when I had a USPS question.
