S&W 19-4 4" pinned/recessed TH/TT RR/WO: SA trigger crisp w/ typical pull, DA smooth but still a little stiff-- DA was stiff and scratchy both orig, but has smoothed out considerably w/ less than 100 dry pulls. There's a bit of movement on lockup but not excessive, I'll give it a "B". Cylinder gap is QUITE tight. Scattered marks on the gun, but nothing that stands out.

S&W 10-8 4" Heavy Barrel: this one quite ordinary on the outside, but the mechanics are excellent!! SA crisp w/ typical pull, DA is smooth but a little stiff (guessing it hasn't been turned much). LockUp is excellent w/ minimal movement and cylinder gap is pretty snug, certainly beats most Smiths. Scattered marks on the gun, the one of significance being a curved scratch left side under the emblem. The curve rather matches the lines of the emblem, I think a little Cold Blue is in order haha-- that was my plan anyway....
