Have this on GunBroker but thought I would give you guys a look at it. I have not posted here much yet but do read a lot of stuff here. I have 100% feedback on GB, AA and Ebay for many years so no worry here! I have a couple of dozen guns I need to sell due to the recent real estate downturn. ( I develop property at Lake Russell Lake Russell lots for sale at Blackberry Bend )

NICE 1976 SMITH & WESSON MODEL 66 (NO DASH) PINNED/RECESSED IN .357 MAG THAT IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. IT IS VERY ACCURATE AND COMFORTABLE TO SHOOT AND MAKES A GREAT TRAIL GUN OR HOME PERSONAL DEFENSE GUN AS IT IS A .357 MAG AND YOU CAN ALSO SHOOT .38 SPECIALS IN IT. IT COMES WITH A SIX INCH BARREL INSTALLED AND A FOUR INCH BARREL IN A ZIPPER CASE. I BELIEVE THE 4" BARREL IS ORIGINAL AS THERE WERE NO 6" BARRELS IN THE CATALOG UNTIL 1978. IT HAS BEEN SUGGESTED THAT THIS COULD HAVE BEEN A SPECIAL ORDER. THE CONDITION SEEMS EXCELLENT TO ME AND THE ONLY FLAW SEEMS TO BE A COUPLE OF ROUGH SPOTS ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE CYLINDER SHOWN IN PICTURE FOUR.

Could have been like mine back then. The 4" spit lead and jackets so bad, it went back to S&W for a re-barrel to 6". And they sent the original barrel back too.

No problem with this one ... shoots great with either barrel ....
