I'm trying to find a place where to buy gun parts. I know about Brownells, Numrich, Midway. They don't seem to have a lot of things needed sometimes.

Gunsmiths must have a good source to buy parts. I just don't know where they are.

if you sign up with Brownells, they offer a discounted pricing for
MIL/LEO.

All of the forementioned suppliers also offer varying discounts for holders of C&R Licenses. In 1 order you can pay for the 3 year cost of the license.
Brownells has provided me with lots of products that aren't listed in their catalog or on the net. I've purchased Ahrends grips that were special ordered, and the same discounts applied.

The above mentioned resources usually are pretty good for newer models. Numrich can be hot and cold when it comes to what they have in inventory. The older parts are just plain tough to get sometimes.

I've done alot of business with Valley Gun Shop. They have alot of S&W parts including the older stuff. Lots of gun parts in general!
The Valley Gun Shop

Also, I find some needed parts at times from Empire Gun Shop, Danville, PA.
You can find a link to a website of that name if you do a search BUT DO NOT click on it as it is a bad website and will mess up your computer with a virus.

Call them @ 570-275-5482

Used to be run by Pete Donato for years,,now his son is running it since Pete passed away.
He does alot of gunshows, so Fridays & Weekends may be difficult to get him there. I keep forgetting to ask him about the website/email situation when I see him!

I've never done any business with the following but they may also have what you need:
Popperts Gun Parts
Poppert's Gun Parts Main Menu

Bear Creek Guns (mostly modern S&W parts from the looks of their inventory list)
Gun parts for major firearms companies, gunparts

Most of the time scrounging for parts is a main activity at gun shows if you're into this stuff.
